Awful experience at Heavenly Desserts Leeds Road. I’m a wheelchair user and went out of my way to visit this branch with my family — a 30-minute journey with kids — after checking online and seeing that they claimed to be wheelchair accessible. That information turned out to be completely false. When we arrived, there was a step at the entrance and no ramp, no alternative access, no assistance — nothing. I couldn’t even get inside. To make matters worse, the staff were rude, dismissive, and completely unbothered. No one offered help or even an apology. It was humiliating and incredibly frustrating to be treated like an inconvenience. Businesses need to understand that accessibility isn’t a box to tick — it’s about real inclusion and respect. Advertising a venue as accessible when it clearly isn’t wastes people’s time, effort, and energy, and that’s simply unacceptable. Heavenly Desserts, please do better. Update your accessibility information and make your premises genuinely accessible to everyone. No one should have to go through this kind of experience again.
I've had this same dessert at other branches, where it looked as advertised and was worth the £8.95. This time it was unfortunately underwhelming and did not look anything like the display picture. It was not aesthetically pleasing in the slightest and didn’t test any better either.
We went to have desserts as a family and we all enjoyed our selves. The desserts were perfectly created and tasted delicious. A bit pricey but understandable.
Recently came to try Heavenly’s as I had heard so many. good reviews about it and it did not disappoint! Was served by Haris, his customer service was spot on, he made sure we were happy with everything we had and went above and beyond with making our experience there completely enjoyable. Will definitely be back!!!
Overall the desserts were very good. The new addition of the Egg is unexpectedly refreshing and it genuinely tastes great. Unfortunately the milk cake bases are stodgy.
