I can't stand their "prices for Clubcard owners only" policy. The price tags are arranged so that the real cost is almost invisible without a card. In addition, the app is constantly buggy and does not download the QR code at the checkout due to poor Internet access inside the store. As a result, it turned out at the checkout that the discount did not apply, and I had to overpay. I feel cheated. I'm switching to shopping at Aldi or Lidl
You lot got to do something with the beggars/nitties whatever you wanna call them, standing outside the shop, it’s getting ridiculous. They be touching stuff in the trolley asking if they can have it or ask for money and if you say no they get pissed off n make rude comments. Very unpleasant experience for your customers.(especially underage customers)
Rude and judgmental staff. 7:40 am 18th August 2025. Go looking for shorts in the clothing section, and there are multiple clothing articles strewn over the shorts section. I while looking for shorts that fit me, picked up the loose items to check if they fit me or if I wanted them, then put them to the side on a railing so staff can easily sort them out. Thier staff member only sees me put the shorts to the side, and come over in an patronising and passive aggressive tone starts shouting to another colleague "ill just hang these up", "its amazing they come with hangers, who would of thought" to another colleague., acting as if im the one who left those items off the hanger in the first place. It was done in an extremely rude and condescending manner and showed a complete lack of respect for someone that was only trying to help them. These staff members need retaining on not jumping to conclusions and treating all customers (regardless of how the look) with kindness and respect. Id assume thier judgement comes from a place of bigotry due to how I look. I hope they do not treat thier other work colleague or customers that look like me the same way.
Absolutely awful having to visit the Tesco store where your chased by homeless people right outside. I am shocked nothing is being done about this and refuse to have my trolley pulled from me each time I visit for a pound.
Unfortunately the 1 star is due to the fact of getting hounded by the homeless people outside the store which just make the experience horrible. Though the facilities in store and staff are great
