About Dale View
Description
A stunning and sophisticated barn conversion, Dale View overlooks beautiful Danby Dale. It is detached and has its own gardens, and covered area for al fresco dining. Light and airy, the award-winning conversion was completed in 2014. Green oak timbers and light York stone floors create a feeling of warmth and tranquillity. The exceptionally large farmhouse kitchen is great for entertaining and relaxing with friends and family – its antique elm table seats ten in comfort.Entrance/Utility
Equipped with integral washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, Belfast sink and drainer – the utility room has everything you need to stay comfortable and organised.Wet Room
This room has a fun colour-changing LED disco lighting system. The room has a loo and basin – with marbled tiles throughout and a non-slip floor. Traditional lighting is also available! The Kitchen
The old weaver’s window pours light onto the green oak stairs in a kitchen furnished with antiques. An old oak pew from a local chapel, a school bench and a 17th Century serving table sit comfortably within a modern and fully equipped kitchen. Belfast sink, double fan-assisted oven, induction hob, fridge and dishwasher cover all the essentials and a butcher’s block has been rescued and converted into a handy mobile kitchen island to create a kitchen that is just begging to host some culinary masterpieces! The Sitting Room
After a day exploring the delights of the North York Moors, come back to relax and put your feet up in this spacious yet cosy 2 level sitting room. Look up towards the 20ft ceiling and you will notice a huge internal glass window set high in the exposed stone wall and stairs leading to an oak-beamed gallery. South facing French windows lead out onto gardens with views of Danby Dale. And a wood-burning stove, leather sofas, 40inch satellite TV and DVD; a pine box full of games and books, all conspire to make this a room you will find hard to leave. The Gallery
A westerly window and large south-facing roof light reveal more great views and allow light to flood onto this airy, spacious gallery. Simply furnished with a cream leather sofa-bed and sheepskin rugs, this is the perfect place to relax, listen to music; read, write, or be creative with watercolours or drawing.Ground Floor Bedroom
Not many bedrooms have an original sandstone pillar at the foot of the bed. This one does, supporting the ancient oak beam and joists. With a luxury King size brass bedstead and 18thc oak chest of drawers, this bedroom has a glass door that leads you straight out onto the terraced south facing gardens.Master Bedroom
Entering this special room you will be wowed by the 12-foot high internal window looking directly into the sitting room below and the gallery across the barn. A single heavy curtain can be pulled across. The room has a traditional cast iron radiator, antique mirror and chest of drawers, and a comfy luxury big brass bed. A wall-mounted TV/DVD and LED mood lighting complete the picture.Twin Bedroom
With a vaulted ceiling and illuminated ‘arrow slits’, this simple tasteful room has two 3ft iron bedsteads, a chest of drawers, mirror and chair. Like the master bedroom, this room has a traditional cast iron radiator.Bathroom
With exposed beams and cast iron radiator, this delightful room features a Victorian style bath, loo and hand basin and a separate walk in shower.Outside
Dale View Barn has two private south-facing gardens. The first is a gorgeous suntrap with garden furniture, where you can sit and take in the splendour of the North York Moors. The second garden has a covered BBQ area with spotlights and electric points and the garden is sympathetically lit for those sophisticated evening soirees!Facilities

Dale view cottage was a lovely cottage had everything you need ,the views and walks were amazing, would recomend it for a quiet and relaxing stay, places to visit were just a short drive away, cottage was cosy and warm and clean , .
We enjoyed our stay very much.
Lovely, quirky cottage in a beautiful location.
Somehow we missed information on finding Dale View in the jumble of village properties, but a neighbour helped.
The cottage is peaceful, comfortable with a beautiful view of the valley from the lounge and bedroom.
