The Stables at Sedbury Hall
About
Description
The Stables at Sedbury Hall, Scotch Corner, is an event space with a real difference. A Grade II listed building set in exquisite grounds near Richmond, North Yorkshire, The Stables has been sympathetically restored to bring modern venue facilities with 200 years of history.
It’s a blank canvas for any event, conference or business meeting or away day, where the rooms and grounds can be used to bring together a truly unique and memorable day for your clients or staff.
The Stables date back to 1771 and lie in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Designed by the famous Georgian Architect, John Carr, they once stabled the racing horses of King Charles II. The Sedbury Hall estate stretches over 300 acres of beautiful landscaped parkland, ideal for many outdoor pursuits. It even boasts it’s very own folly!
Closer to home is an historic walled kitchen garden, home to one of the largest French Parterres in Yorkshire, a herb garden, vegetable plot and alfresco dining area, all available to use as you please.
