This car park is really cheap and relatively safe, located perfectly for the middle of Harrogate and the travelodge next door. It is locked overnight. There is no lift in this car park. Be aware, it's quite tight to navigate around in a larger car. I got 48 hours parking for £12, thought that was really good - but be aware unless you get the app you will have to return to put another pay and display ticket on. Noticed that they actually clean the stairs too!
Short stay car park, siruated across the street is a part of West Park Car Park. The maximum stay is up to 4 hours and the spaces for the vehicles are slightly wider than in the multi-storey car park. Reasonable prices. Payment by cash, contacless or Appyparking app. Also, spaces for e-charging available. Close to the town centre, less than 10 minutes walk.
It’s tight and a bit overpriced and there were spaces in the car park dead opposite with more space. There are also overhanging levels which if you’re not careful will damage your car if the sensors are sensing from the bumper. Not for the faint hearted.
Always parked at this car park for years and never had any issues but it is quite tight as many say. We have parked here for concerts before as well. So went to one last night and did not expect any issues. When we got back to car at 10 it was locked. My fault completely as it does say in multiple places that it shuts at 9.30. Cost us £60 for someone to let us out but they did come quickly. I won’t make that mistake again.
Remember to take your car reg as you will need it to pay the machine before you go shopping!
