We visited Cru Wine Bar last night for their sherry and port tasting evening. What a gem of a place! A really enjoyable evening. The hosts were amiable and knowledgeable. The evening was really reasonably priced. 2 glasses of sherry and 3 of port plus a charcuterie board for £40 a head. Great value. We have already booked on for another tasting in March next year.
We joined for the Wednesday night wine tasting after pre-booking because we were on the wait list. It was really enjoyable, lovely wines and knowledge from Sam, the food pairings were a lovely addition!
If you like good wine and good cheese this is the place for you! Great selection of cheese, cured meats, pork pies and vegan friendly items to build your own mezze board! With the ingredients being sourced so locally the menu is likely to change so be prepared for that! As you'd expect from a wine bar all the major bases are covered, you'll definitely find a wine for you!
A great wine bar in Holmfirth with a good selection of wines and the Manager Cory is very friendly and knows his wines! 😁
We went for the first time with friends on the Gay Pride Sunday. Oh my goodness what a fun time. Wonderful wine, beautifully set out platter and friendly service. The decor is lovely and the “loo” spotless (very important). Great job guys we are looking forward to a return visit.
