Visited on a cold January evening. Not the most friendly of service from the guy with the beard behind the bar. Beer was nice. All on keg and tasty. But would have been nice to have seen some cask. Not good to see a couple turned away well before closing time and then someone else served. Really wanted to enjoy this place. A smile and a friendly welcome would really have gone a long way.
This place is amazing. Stumbled over ut on the way to Nowhere. The staff are so knowledgeable and gave me tasters of various beer options. Someight find it chilly and rustic but it's a belting place. Well worth a visit.
Great mix. Tardis like building. Food looked amazing Wished I hadn't eaten. Brilliant music too. Live acts were superb.
Went in to get a pint of decent beer while in partner outlet coopers yard. They used to have several hand pumps and good cask ale. Just the one now and the beer was rank. Will stick to magic rock down the road. Beats it on every feature and the beer is great
This place became our local the day after it opened. We love it - love the beer, the staff & the ambience too. Went down for the US Independence Day and had a BBQ meal and some great imported beers. We go to the Bottle Club and beer tasting events too. It’s a great spot but don’t tell anyone 🤫
