A super fish and chip shop, takeaway or eat in upstairs. The other side of the chip shop is an icecream and sweets area with gorgeous looking ice creams in loads of flavours. We had fish chips, mushy peas and curry sauce which were delicious and savoured slowly. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We called this Friday lunchtime after watching James the previous week ('The Curb' YouTube) showing us the haddock and chips Unfortunately our chips were not lovely and brown, they were anemic, half of them were just hard crisps with no potato and inedible, the colder they got the chewier they became. The haddock we were served did not resemble what James received and was very average. The peas were decent and the Chinese curry was excellent.

Opted for fish, chips and mushy peas and it was pretty good. Fish in particular was done just right. Ate upstairs which has a 1980s vibe in the sense that it looks like it was last decorated then but it served a purpose. I’d go again.

I was recommended this place and what a lovely place. The cod fish was fresh and the batter was just amazing at a good price. Together with chips and curry sauce. Chips, you can't beat chippy chips. These were cooked to perfection. With curry sauce smothered, just a perfect Friday lunch. The staff are great with a little bit of small talk. I didn't need to wait long, got the order in a timely manner. Definitely come back and try other menu items. And it is next door to their ice cream business.
