I've been a Lloyds bank customer since the 80s. Last December I rang up customer service to order 50p coins for a charity event. I was told that I could collect them the following Saturday. I went to the bank and they told that no one had been in touch with them. I was very disappointed and upset because I had taken the morning off from work. Today(05/08/2025)I rang again to order 50p coins and was told that I would have to go to my branch and that they could not preorder. I know that the branch will not have £2000 in 50p denominations so it will be a wasted journey. I don't understand why I can't order and then collect. I am now in the process of waving good bye and good riddance to Lloyds.
I visited the branch while visiting from Scotland. I’m a bank of Scotland customer. Excellent service provided by the teller young lady I wished I remembered her name. All transactions were taken care of professionally and it’s nice to be treated like a human being. Shes credit to Loyds definitely will be opening an account with this bank. Happy customer got my money to buy my ice cream and shopping 😀
Lloyds Bank in Huddersfield town provides very slow service and wastes people's time by intentionally wasting it. Rubish service
Closed my account for no reason and no one helped when I visited the branch. Asked for the manager and she refused to help as she was off home soon
Went to deposit money. The chap at the counter remarked rudely “ can you not fold it like that, we’re not meant to take it if it’s folded like that, I’ll have to ask my colleague if I can accept it! “ I was left flabbergasted by his rude tone of voice. I felt extremely upset too as it’s not what you expect to be greeted with in a place where great customer service should be priority. I was then asked how much and then told to put my card in with no please or thank you throughout the service. I’ve been going to this branch since I was a child, never have I ever been dealt with rudely. All the staff have been very friendly and polite. This chap told me he’s not even normally here, and that he knows not to take folded notes. I showed him my purse and told him I have no option but to fold it as my purse is small. I felt I was being reprimanded when he again told me I’m not supposed to deposit folded notes. He went off huffing and puffing supposedly asking if he should accept my money to deposit.
