Tesco Esso Express

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the staff member that helped me today when I broke glass in my bag at the check out. They were extremely helpful and understanding and I just feel awful because I just dropped my bag. Thank you 🙏 and I’m really sorry 😔 all is well and I hope it is there too. Thank you for your kindness.

Their card machines(contactless) were down about a month ago, so they gave me a pay notice which I PAID within 7 days. A few weeks later I got a letter from "QDR Solicitors" telling me I owe them money for not paying for my fuel and failiure to pay will effect my credit score. The staff member who wrote out the notice was rude to me as if it's my fault that their machines were down. Threw a pen on the floor in his tantrum. The same gent told me that I could pay the "NMoP" in any tesco express (as I live 2 hours away). This turned out to be wrong, so I drove all the way back here to pay it in person. After paying I asked the person behind the till if I needed to do anything else and they said no. Now i've had to deal with this debt collection agency to sort out this mess. Complete waste of time but QDR were very helpful. Moral of the story, Keep cash on you folks!

Poor customer service, Manager is absolutely vile, he had couldn't be bothered to assist an old lady filling up and shouted at her for asking for help! Reported the scumbag but an 'investigation' couldn't find any 'supporting' evidence and they wonder why Tesco is doing so poorly!

Having foolishly put the wrong fuel in my car ( don't ask!), the staff here couldn't have been nicer. They made sure I was ok, made me some tea and even offered to take me to a job interview. A huge thank you x

Decent stop off. Coffee machine must be the most unreliable in West Yorkshire. Never working.
