It's heating up in Yorkshire...

Whether your preference is a bonfire, a fireworks display or just a good old-fashioned get together, Yorkshire has something for everyone.

Below are the top highlights that are not to be missed this year.

Sledmere House Musical Fireworks Spectacular, 27 October

For their 4th annual 'Musical Fireworks Spectacular' Sledmere House would like to 'Welcome you to the Circus' with an amazing fireworks display set to music.

A great evening out for all of the family, with have a go circus skills, funfair, refreshments and bar, culminating in their 'Welcome to the Circus' themed 'Musical Fireworks Spectacular'.

Discounted early bird tickets are now on sale and available until 20th October.

Bolton Abbey Bonfire Night, 3 November

In the shadows of the Priory ruins by the banks of the River Wharfe, Bolton Abbey’s annual bonfire and firework display returns alongside fire eaters and traditional fairground rides. Wrap up warm, and be entertained by fire eaters and traditional fairground rides. The evening will end with a dazzling firework display.

Fabulous Fireworks at Lightwater Valley, 3 November

Join Lightwater Valley for a fabulous firework spectacular, choreographed to music and set over our picturesque Swan Lake. The theme park rides are all open as usual from 10am and once darkness falls their 10 minute firework show will provide heaps of extra excitement at no extra cost.

Selby Bonfire and Firework Event, 3 November

This will be a great free event for all the family held on the Community Centre field with fun fairground rides to entertain all. Bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm with fireworks at 7pm and 7.30pm. Minster FM will also be on-site to entertain people as well as helping with the countdown.

Elland Community Bonfire, 3 November

Welcome to Calderdale's largest public Bonfire and Firework Display. There'll be two huge firework displays, lighting of the bonfire, a fire dance display team, food stalls, hot drinks, fairground rides, games stalls and music too; what more could you need for a wonderful night out with friends and family?

Cannon Hall Farm Bonfire Spectacular, 4 November

Cannon Hall's annual bonfire returns on November 4 with a fun-packed family day out. The bonfire is an all day event and your ticket includes farm admission, indoor and outdoor play, tractor and trailer rides.

There will be a DJ with kids entertainment provided by the specialists CopyCat Party Company and the day will be rounded off with the bonfire which will be lit at 5pm and the firework display at 6.30pm.

Stockeld Park, 4 November

Stockeld are joined by the same amazing company from last year that lit up the sky over Stockeld Park in 2017.  This year they have a new longer 30min show, plus an amazing display of fireworks, entertainers, a Live DJ & dare-devil fire breathers.

Wrap up warm and enjoy the sky lighting up once again above Stockeld Park!

Don Valley Bowl Sheffield, 5 November

Held every year at Don Valley Bowl, After Dark Fireworks Spectacular plays host to a whopping 20,000 spectators.

In 2018, After Dark will be hosting Hallam FM and Simon Morykin live, a giant bonfire, a funfair, fire spinners, food stalls, face painting and, of course, the legendary firework display set to music.
