Seacroft Library

Really cool place! I came in because I was having tech issues and I needed to print something out... The nice security man welcomed me and got a colleague called Louie to help. Louie was really helpful, positive and good humoured. These guys do a brill job for their community 🙂🙏

I’m shocked that in 2025, the computers provided are so outdated it takes 5 minutes just to log in. Printing is a painfully slow and inefficient process — requiring a separate code entry for each document and accepting only coins for payment (which wasn’t communicated in advance). To make things worse, the receptionist asked me to spell my 5-letter name five times, showing a lack of attention or care (or memory). I wasn’t informed about the exact payment method until too late, resulting in two wasted visits and over 3 hours wasted just trying to print some papers. The system is clearly outdated and frustrating. It seriously needs upgrading — both in terms of equipment and customer service.

Only been in a couple of times but both times no manners at all....I am usually further away, Headingly way and use the service there regularly and they are lovely but literally shocked at how seacroft staff talk to you! Will not be using again if I can help it!!!

The library is beautiful, wonderful, very comfortable, and better than that, the staff inside the library treats them very, very nicely. I wish the staff success, progress and prosperity.

Went to photocopy some documents, excellent service,did the job for me, thank you very much for your service.
