After four years of campaigning and consultations there's finally an upgraded playground here, nice facilities too for kids and families to appreciate, with more on the way like a fully tarmacked pump track. (will be closer than the intimidatingly steep one at Fearnville's Playing Fields) Yes, there is anti-social behaviour that comes and goes as you'd expect with any playground (a local policing matter, depends on the time of day...) but that doesn't mean good kids shouldn't have nice things due a few bad apples!
The new playground is fantastic! My 4 and 6 year olds love it. They also love scootering or biking around the paths. Litter and dog poo can be an issue and later in the day there can be an issue with anti social behaviour. But in general we love our time in the park, especially fun when ls14 trust put on events as well. We can't wait for the pump track!
Unfortunately as the new park had been built, it has already been ruined. Seems seacroft isn't destined to have nice parks, been set on fire already, vandalised, graffiti, and gangs threatening people, attacking people and carrying knifes! Has a huge litter problem also and I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone. Kids are being attacked constantly too. Waste of time sadly just gets ruined
Two really nice playzones from Kompan and a great deal of money invested in this. A Junior set of equipment including a huge multi-unit with climbing net, bridges and slides near the centre of the park and also a Trim Trail. At the top end of the park is a Toddler set of play equipment including Multi-unit, swings, see-saw and small roundabout. And hopefully later in the year the track for bmx, scooters and skateboards.
Now it has had new equipment put in its a great place. Its lovely to hear the children laughing and see them playing.
