Popped in looking for a quick breakfast and coffee and honestly found a hidden gem. It’s run by a really friendly couple who made me feel welcome straight away. Plenty of homemade cakes on offer and the food was fresh and delicious. They even have their own ground coffee and it tastes amazing. Definitely 100% recommend. Bb
Nice independent cafe located at the Cross Gates train station. Coffee is very good and sensibly priced. Didn't try any food but the offering is looking good with something for everyone, sweet or savoury. Perfect place to grab a coffee and a quick bite if you're going on or off the train.
Having come across the story of this little cafe and the struggles due to the on-going bridgeworks we thought we would put some business their way. I normally dont promote small businesses but feel this one deserves it. All I can say is WOW. What a little gem of a place. Called in today for breakfast with the hubby and was not disappointed. Food was so tasty and fresh(not catering food). We got to meet the lovely Kat and listen to her story of how the business began and how the young family are trying to make a go of things. All I will say to anyone who has not been here is what are you waiting for. The road closure may be an inconvenience but it's worth that extra walk around the works on your journey to get there. We will definitely be back...Just to try the cakes that looked amazing.😁😁.x
I absolutely love this coffee shop, it’s right across from JD Gyms, so you can reward yourself with a coffee and healthy breakfast after working out. They do healthy, protein rich breakfasts, lunches (and cooked meals although I haven’t tasted the cooked meals yet) They also have a loyalty scheme. The staff are really helpful and friendly, and the comfy settees are just what you need. I hope it’s here to stay 😊
I visited this coffee shop one morning after getting off the train, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After a long journey, I grabbed a coffee, and both the service and the coffee itself were great. A perfect spot for a quick pick-me-up!
