Ordered a bacon and Tom sandwich, bread was stale, clearly yesterdays bread, unreadable Edit: this was a section I ripped off to show the white bits that show it going stale, the rest of the sandwich was thrown away. It was a takeaway or I would have raised this issue. If you get you bread delivered daily it may be an idea to have a word with your supplier for supplying day old bread. Also the cook should have noticed if the bread was stale or when cutting it, it could have been used for a door stop it was that hard. Definitely would not recommend this cafe.

I love this place !! You’re always welcomed with a warm smile by the lovely people that work there. I had a lasagna today with chips and it was absolutely beautiful. The quality of the food is great and the portions are big. It was lovely sitting and chatting with one of the owners whilst he was on his lunch break. You can definitely tell they love their customers and their business. If you want a cheap but high quality meal and a drink, I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the great work guys 👍🏾.

Visited here today for the first time and was very impressed. Full English breakfast was amazing, even our dog was made to feel welcome with a sausage. Can’t wait to visit again, highly recommend. Such friendly staff, thankyou.

I recently visited this café with my partner for breakfast, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were incredibly friendly throughout, making us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. The food was excellent—fresh, well-prepared, and presented with care. We both had hearty breakfasts, and everything tasted great. It’s clear that they put effort into both the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. What really stood out, though, was how comfortable the whole place felt. It’s the kind of café where you can sit back, enjoy your meal, and have a nice conversation without feeling rushed. We even had a pleasant chat with the staff, who were more than happy to take the time to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. It’s rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes—great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The English breakfast was basic. The worst I’ve ever had. I asked for well cooked eggs they bought out running eggs and mentioned it was my fault for not telling them, when I made the request when I ordered. I was expecting fresh tomatoes not plum tomatoes. Quality of food is poor. The sausage looked like something from a school dinner. Worst breakfast, I’m sure they do well in other things but definitely not breakfast for 10£!!!! The smoothie I requested for tasted like a Milkshake! Worst experience ever! Won’t be going back there again. Just to note.. my plate wasn’t empty! No need to lie
