Had alternative milk and even had a vegan cake option (not pictured). Service was incredibly friendly and they let me have my laptop out whilst I ate.
Lovely cafe serving food with some very thoughtful touches. I had an americano and a full english which comes with sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. It was all delicious. Stewed tomatoes in a full english are always a bit of a sad tax on the tastiness of the rest of the food, IMO, but in this breakfast they were flavoured with herbs and tasted amazing, it was just a really nice little touch that I wasn't expecting. When I was getting takeout coffee afterwards, I got chatting with another customer who was waxing lyrical on how they serve their cakes warmed up with a cream or ice cream that makes them taste really amazing so I think this is something the kitchen clearly puts some thought into for their dishes. Staff were lovely and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back for seconds!
Delicious breakfast! I love different takes on the "all day breakfast" and their Mediterranean Breakfast really ticks all the boxes. It was a delicious smorgasbord of tasty bits, with honey and jam to finish off with something sweet. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The full English was 10/10 as well. Service was great and the atmosphere is very pleasing.
The breakfast was so tasty and probably the best we’ve had in Leeds. The egg was runny and the bacon was crispy! Nothing was greasy on the plate which was a bonus… The staff were so friendly and approachable. The service was great and the food came out quickly. 100% recommend and we will definitely be back!
Love this place. Friendly,clean and busy. Staff always welcoming. Great atmosphere. Lovely coffee and cakes. Nice food but could be a bit more adventurous. We always pop in when in Cross Gates. Would highly recommend.
