First of all, I need to say the Lamb Nawabi Khana is rightly an award winning dish - probably one of the finest curries I've had for some years. It was rich sweet with complex flavours in succulent lamb. Delicious. The starters were less impressive and the naan bread, poppadoms and paratha were disappointing. However, it was ready on time and for a very competitive price. I'm not sure what the 'healthy options' are but my free advice would be to offer half the portion size for two thirds of the price. I'll definitely be going back for more.
Curry is always nice but delivery service is shocking, ordered online last week an hour and a half later I rang to see where the order was they said they hadn’t received it despite me having email confirming order. Gave them benefit of doubt ordered again this evening again it was late when I rang they said they had handed it to my Daughter, I explained they can’t have done as Daughter not here, he said he will get it delivered in a few minutes. He had obviously delivered to wrong address then lied about it, I’m guessing this happened last week. Will not be ordering from them again 👋
Early evening visit, empty when we arrived after finding the place by accident. A relatively small restaurant with very good food, extensive menu choices. Food arrived in a reasonable time. Warm. Friendly staff. Not licensed. Special deal on Thursday.
Great food, excellent service and value for money.
Food was delivered, chips not cooked, enimik and soggy , the curry was mostly big chunks of sloppy onions, the chicken wasn’t fresh, the chipate was like a wet dish cloth I complained and the man on the phone was actually nice and wanted to resolve the issue best he could, so we agreed on a replacement sending out, there was no way they was going to offer a refund When the delivery driver came back with replacement, he wanted proof the previous curry had not been eaten, and to check it over, he actually wanted me to get it out of the bin, at that point I flipped and told him to take the new curry away and I will just leave a bad review Wasted £40 and two hours of my evening. 😞
