The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the food is absolutely incredible. We had the Sunday dinner platter and it was gorgeous. The chicken, oh my god the chicken, it was absolutely incredible as was the gravy. We’ll definitely be back to try other items off the menu but the Sunday lunch was absolutely divine. Only thing that let it down a bit was how long it took for food to come (although my partner and I were chatting away so the time went by quickly but was about half an hour). Will definitely be back. Such a hidden gem.
We visited this café right at the end of their workday, and they still went above and beyond for us—especially for our friend with multiple allergies. The care and attention they showed truly meant a lot. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were just as wonderful. You could genuinely feel the heart they put into everything. We’ll definitely be back.♥️🫶🏼
Hi, We visited your café today for breakfast and unfortunately had a very bad experience. The bacon and mushrooms were completely burnt, the toast was dry and overcooked, and the eggs were a mess with broken yolks all over the plate. On top of that, it took *30 minutes* for the food to be served, even though there were *no other customers* in the café. This delay and poor quality are simply unacceptable. I took photos of the food because it was nowhere near an acceptable standard. This level of service and food quality is neither professional nor respectful to your customers. Please take this feedback seriously and address the issues with food preparation and service time.
Came for dinner on Friday night and the food was unreal! Had the ribeye steak which was fabulous and tender as owt, delicious chips, salad and sauce. Got a free complimentary Prosecco as well and the service was fab. Glad this is just up the road from me!
Had an amazing experience at Stax! Me and my family celebrated my Nan’s 80th birthday, the owners and staff were so accommodating and let us decorate the table and bring a birthday cake in. Food was unbelievable, most of us ordered the steak and they were cooked to perfection and we all had empty plates by the end, staff and owners were chatty, friendly and had such a warm relaxing atmosphere , can’t wait to come back ! Stax is also very child friendly and my niece had a great time making friends with the other children there , Thankyou for a perfect evening !
