Can only pay by phone, but if you're fine with that it's a great and relatively cheap car park! 10 minutes walk to the hospital.
Car Park is situated on the outskirts of NHS Site for Bexley Wing etc.....and us ideal fir Staff to Park in. Used to be a School on the site . The attendant on duty us very friendly and helps where he can to park your car safely and securely. It is £4.00 a day all day, but the knowledge that your car is being watched whilst parked is very reassuring.
The man who patrolls this car park is absolutely horrible! i work for the nhs and i come on this street on my break. he accuses me all the time of littering ‘because i’m the only person who comes on the street’. he tries getting my attention everyday by repeatedly shouting ‘oi’ from the end of the street. other day a women driving by had asked me how to get into th car park. i had turned round to look where the entrance was, he then appeared again shouting oi, asked what i was doing. i said i was helping out a lady how to get into the car park. he responded with ‘well i work here so don’t be looking at it ill help her out’ he kept coming with comments such as ‘shut up’ ‘ etc. the lady then apologised to me for the way he was speaking to me. a few people came out of their houses and also apologised to me and said that they see him doing it to everyone and that he is a nasty piece of work. i don’t need to deal with this on my every break!
Decent easily accessible car park, great for St James Hospital
Found that there were enough spaces when l arrived which is unusual for hospital parking
