Wetherby Road Car Park

ATTENTION‼️ 🚫 NOT FREE 🚫 to park here ANYMORE!!! Only one tiny sign is placed on one side of the car park to "make you aware" that you have to pay! (Picture attached). We are regularly using this car park and making a change like this is disgusting. Why would I search for that tiny sign when it was always free?! At least put there a yellow or red sign or something to make us aware about the change and there are four sides of this car park anyway. The only reason I noticed the sign is that I got a penalty charge notice. Thank you Leeds City Council, keep up the good work! I will challenge your PCN!

Perfect parking spot for a walk around Waterloo Lake. Quieter than the parks main car parks. No charge to park there. Only downside is that for the elderly or infirm there is a 100yard uphill walk to the lake level

Small car park, free of charge. Great for quick access to Waterloo Lake circular walk. Or park near the cafe farther along the road at the lakeside

Car park got full fast . And it was free parking. at the moment. With picnic tables .. excellent

Think that there is a secondary use for this car park as there were a few cars parked up with engines running. A little scary for some, as greenery is a little overgrown and large dogs off leads, but family enjoyed the climb up the hill to the water, and the woodland path more relaxing for the adults.. Unless you'd like a go at rolling back down on the way to the car.
