Extremely poor surgery and non cooprative staff. Registered 4–6 months ago, attempted booking three times, called sharply at 8 am, yet staff always said there were no bookings. I’m changing surgeries and would not recommend this place to others

On Friday afternoon my mum was told by a member of the community care team that she needed to see a GP. I rang at 1.40pm and the receptionist made an appointment for 4.30 that same afternoon at the East Park surgery. The appointment with Dr Taylor took place on time and by 5pm, less than 3 and a half hours after the initial call, my mum had the required medication. There are a lot of negative reports about the NHS but I think when things go better than expected that should be flagged up too. I don't think the service yesterday could have been bettered so well done and thanks to everyone in the practice who was involved.

I’ve had a painful leg condition for over a year. I saw a nurse who did nothing to help. I saw a bored Physio who just dismissed my concerns & initially did not even offer me any at home exercises. He saw me once & did not offer a follow up. The GP has refused to refer me for a scan. They referred me to an MSK Clinic, but then an extra digit was added to my number, so the MSK Clinic couldn’t contact me for months. The MSK exercises don’t help. I asked to make a formal complaint & the receptionist just ignored me. Due to their negligence I’ll have to fork out for private physio & a scan.

More than anything when you can the reception they are rude, cut the call abruptly or pass on in correct messages.

I haven't booked an appointment or anything yet but I wanted so mention Hazel at reception, she was absolutely excellent at helping me, she registered me quickly and advised me in where to go if I needed to be seen immediately and gave me advice on how to contact the surgery. She was very helpful and really patient and kind.
