The "New Fire Station" and Police station. Not to be confused with the "ol' fire station" or 'the now empty police station' next door. Yes marvel at the greatness of Leeds city council; just how did they get away with this, transforming these much needed services situated in the heart of the community into such tiny, tiny buildings. First the police at Gipton police station were moved to a larger purpose built station allowing the Ol' police station to be transformed by a private company into housing. Only for this building to be put up for sale and almost all police moved yet again this time next to the foot ball stadium. Then the Fire service were moved from the Ol' fire station into a small, small, (my god how do they all fit in there?), multi purpose Fire Station/ police station, (except you aren't supposed to go to the police station to make enquiries, oh no you must spend at least 20 min' of fun trying to ring the non emergency line). So if you find yourself in need of the emergency services of fire or Police then God help you. And while you pray remember to thank Leeds city council and the government's insane cut's to public spending

So helpful when my Elderly parents Smoke alarms stopped working . Prompt , empathetic and polite service .
Very ugly Fire Station (police station) with blindingly white concrete driveway , when in sunshine. Various car parks, some fenced and some not.
Had to take my son for a pair of handcuffs cutting off π€π thanks
