Thomasons Funeral Service

After the sad and unexpected passing of my dad at home, I called any funeral directors local to me and had him picked up - the service I received was not great so I had him moved and taken into the care of Thomasons who came recommended. What a difference in the service & care both mum & I received. From the first phone call to every contact with both Hannah & Phil, they were compassionate, caring, loving & ever so thoughtful. Dad's day went to plan & I truly felt like they were part of it with us. dads ashes are still with them now until we get the sanctum arranged. nothing was too much trouble and price was right too. I wouldn't hesitate recommending a fantastic company to support you with your loved ones.

We received a fantastic, warm & caring experience from Hannah & the team. Not to forget Lisa, the celebrant, who made the service a joy to listen to. Forget the big names, always go local! It was a bitter sweet week for me. Married on the Tuesday then saying goodbye to mum on the Thursday. Don't really like talking money, but the price was amazing. With what we've saved we are having a tree planted in memory of mum. Thank you again so so much for a truly fantastic service! God Bless you all, x

Can't fault anything from the first to last call. They took good care of Dale our son. He looked beautiful when my husband and son visited him at crossgates. Everything was just perfect from them. We highly reccommed. Thank you Phillip and team

Absolutely Disgusting!!! They was assigned to look after my fathers body and have had it for over a week, I asked to see my fathers body only for Philip Thomason to advise me they have other funerals to attend to and to call my chosen funeral director to sort this out. I called them again and spoke to Hannah, and advised her I am not local and have a limited time in Leeds and asked if they can consider allowing me to see my father. Hannah protested and continued to tell me I need to speak to my chosen funeral director to collect the body and arrange viewing through them as they 'have other families to attend to'. I advised Hannah, just because I am not paying for their service this should not be a reason for treating me like this, she still kept telling me the same thing. If this was not bad enough Philip Thomason called me raised voice and shouting at me telling me how dare I speak to his colleague as I did and not call them again!. As I am trying to get a word in, he is still shouting over me and telling me to be quiet!, he was not listening to a word I said. As I attempted to tell him I have lost my father and the audacity to speak to me as he did clearly shows no empathy, never mind sympathy. Philip Thomason and Thomasons Funeral Service..... SHAME ON YOU!!!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE IN THE BUSINESS YOU ARE IN!!!

We have had to arrange 2 funerals within a short period of time and we chose to use Phil and his colleagues for both. The price was really good and all details explained well. Every consultation was easy to do and all involved were very friendly and supportive. We would highly recommend to anyone.
