Breast Screening Clinic Within Leeds Teaching Hospital

No information given re distance from multistory carpark or directions to the St James unit. Resulting in a long stressful parking problem and a long walk with osteoarthritis and artificial joints. The whole process took no more than 8 minutes. Requested recall letter took 11 days to get to me. The appointment was made with no option with dates or times. Even after requesting why I’d been recalled the staff could give no information stating because it appeared different from my previous mammogram this just escalated my anxiety as I had not had previous ones. The vagueness of correspondence instilled nothing but stress and anxiety and staff less than knowledgeable or helpful. Poor and frightening.

Went To junction 32 mobile unit the staff were fantastic and it was nothing its more whrn ive got home that my arms ache.and breast ache but nothing paracetemol would not help. Brillant wish I'd done 1st one sooner

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT STAFF. I WAS OVERWHELMED, NERVOUS AND ENDED UP FAINTING! THE STAFF WERE AMAZING A VERY PROFESSIONAL. I FELT IN VERY SAFE HANDS AND I CANNOT THANK THE GIRLS ENOUGH FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL CARE. THANK YOU SO MUCH 💓

Had an appointment today at the Seacroft Breast Screening Unit Leeds. I would just like to say, what a marvellous Team, from Reception to the Nursing Staff. Nothing is more nerve racking than receiving a call back letter after initial Mammogram. All the Staff work so hard to bring positivity throughout the further testing procedure. A special mention to Mariana Mattias, Thank you for being so calming & knowledgeable whilst giving information & examining. Also to Paula Bland, whose calming & friendly presence, was so appreciated.

Had an appointment in St James clinic, from reception to see specialist, to tests, everything was so organised. All staff were welcoming and friendly. Perfect service and teams, deserve a 5 star！
