Sadly not the best first time experience of a gymnastics club for my daughter. It was quite a full class which meant limited if any 1:1 tuition. No feedback and regular staff changes.
Both of our daughters absolutely love it here. The coaches are so kind and make all sessions so much fun. Stations change every week. The office staff are also so helpful and friendly, The opportunities provided by the club are incredible - Leeds Gym Fest was amazing and thank you for giving my 5 year old the opportunity to perform. She absolutely loved it!
Took the joy out of gymnastics for our son. He loved gymnastics at his previous setting, won medals and volunteered to act as a demonstrator for younger children, as he wanted to share his love of the sport. At Leeds Gym he became very bored, we received no feedback at all and coaches seemed to change regularly. When we were advised by a stand in coach that another child was bullying him, she assured us that someone woud be in touch to advise on what action they were taking. Nothing happened. When we reached out, we were advised that they had a long waiting list so if we weren't happy, they would allow us to cancel without giving the month's notice. The manager was copied in to the email but didn't bother to contact us, which speaks volumes. On top of that, we weren't able to cancel the subscription ourselves, which contravenes the Digital Markets Competition and Consumer 2024. What we are most disappointed at is the lack of care and the fact that they have taken the joy out of the sport for our child. It has made us really sad.
Multiple changes of coach, repetitive teaching, 15 minutes per hour doing something, in one session the coach wasn’t even present for 30 minutes, then when you leave for the poor service, all they want is your exit fee. Really poor
Want to counteract some of the negative reviews here - this is an amazing club with kind friendly coaches - highly recommended
