UltraFlex Gym North Leeds

UltraFlex really stands out — the atmosphere is great, staff are always friendly, and the equipment is some of the best you’ll find anywhere. It’s definitely one of the top gyms in the area and worth the premium price. That said, there are a few small things that I think could really help keep it at that top level: • Quite a lot of the lockers (around half) have been broken for quite a while. It would be great to know if there are plans to fix or replace them — or even switch to the old-school padlock style if that’s easier. At the moment it feels like a bit of a weak spot compared to how high-end everything else is. • In the sauna, one of the wooden slats on the bench is loose and could be a bit risky if someone sits on it the wrong way. • The sauna door doesn’t seem to close properly, so the heat escapes a bit — probably wasting energy too. • I’ve tried messaging on Facebook before but didn’t get a reply — maybe the inbox just needs a quick check. • Lastly, just wondering how often the ice bath water gets changed — sometimes it looks a bit cloudy. Still, it’s a fantastic gym overall — just hope these small issues get sorted soon, because everything else about UltraFlex is first class. 💪

Love it, best gym i have been to, always able to get on a machine evem when its peak times. If a machine is broken/out of order, not sat there for months its fixed reasonably quick. Last i always see a new machine every now and again which is great. Cant fault it

The gym offers high-quality equipment and a wide variety of machines and workout options. It has a great atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the main drawback is the cleanliness, the gym is often dusty, and the facilities are not well-maintained. With the monthly price recently increasing to £55, higher standards are expected. Unfortunately, it feels like these standards have slipped. That said, this gym has real potential to be the best in Leeds if improvements are made in this area.

I have been a member of your gym for 3 years and have always appreciated the facilities and atmosphere. However, I was surprised to see the recent price increase to £55 per month. Whether it applies to current members or not it’s not far off what we currently pay . Other gyms similar to this price point offer way more incentives such as access to a pool , classes and simple things like FREE flavoured water, while here it’s simply access to equipment. If prices are going up, members expect more in return. Extending opening hours until midnight would add real value and make the gym competitive. Without changes like this, many members will question whether staying at £55 a month is worthwhile.
