Local history meets useful landmark in this wonderful civic tower. Sadly the clock is no longer working. The tower is Victorian red brick. A contrast against the stone walls of the hospital grounds that enclose the clock tower. The plant life surrounding the building has started an upward march, the tower can appear quite picturesque when the foliage is in full leaf.

A historical grade II listed building. The clock tower doubles as a water tower which holds up to 28000 litres of water. The clock doesn't work but it would be nice if somebody could repair it. I Iove how the plants have attached themselves to it and spread near to the top. Would look good if it was fully green.

A wonderful icon and landmark whish the clock was working It was part of the old Seacroft Hospital which for the most part has been demolished. It is now still the home of the Blood bank, (go give some and save a life), out patients having x-ray & ultrasound etc plus the Newsam center The whole site was to be cleared, I suspect to make way for the housing development which was instead built on a charity owned Medow behind the site. Yaaaaaa more green land given over to erect cheaply built housing, none of which is "affordable", to make vast profit for 1 housing company.

I grew up very near by and used to look at it every day, the clock was always out by an hour for about a week after the clocks changed. Wish it would be repaired.

Nice clock tower would be nice if the national lottery would give some money to repair it
