We went for a coffee after some shopping and although there was quiet a few customers (including a couple of difficult ones) the guy serving was great. He was chatty and smiley and never stopped, as soon as the queue died down he was straight in the bathroom replenishing loo roll, checked on customers and clearing tables all with a happy skip in his step. As soon as a new customer arrived he was on it. The barista was great, lovely hot coffees and was smashing them out skillfully and quickly as quite busy. (Monday 8th December) both deserve a raise ££!
We love visiting this branch. The staff are always amazing, friendly and very attentive to the needs of a customer in a wheelchair . Thank you all so much for making us feel special
Went in 25th august about 3pm asked for a caramel frappe as I was waiting I noticed the guy making the drinks was getting quite agitated with all the checks .. a man came and said the code wasn’t for the toilet which he replied with an annoyed attitude I’m too busy to deal with it .. so rude .. anyway he started to make my frappe I noticed he fill it half full and then stuck some cream on top he passed me the drink and I said why is it half full can you fill it to the top please in which he snapped and said No it’s a large cup I’ve not got any medium ones. I replied and said well why didn’t you tell me I’m not psychic!! Which he replied with goodbye .. honestly this man should not be working here what a rude arrogant man he was
Visited Saturday 1st nov. Closes at 5 but can't get food after 4 30 we got there at 4 20 and had to wait for the oven to reheat as had already been shut down, girl on counter made it obvious she was less than happy so hence the star rating for atmosphere and service.
I have had prostate cancer and dropped into this branch of Costa in moderate need of a WC due to my condition. To access the facilities in this establishment you generally need a till receipt which gives you the door code. Well I certainly didn't have time for an immediate quick drink there so I just asked if I might please have the code. The barrister said that there was somebody already in the WC and that he would come out and let me in presently. I waited patiently outside the WC for the door bolt indicator to change from(well) white to white, but no-one came out so I left the establishment remembering that there is a MacDonalds across the lot. The staff and facilities at Mac Donald's are fantastic by comparison and their coffee wasn't too bad either. Please tell your friends this story as they might find it to be interesting. I will also book an appointment with my oncology consultant to get to the bottom (no pun I tended) of my problem. Sorry I can't give Costa any more stars. Due to the urgencies of nature I didn't get as far as actually ordering any food & drink in there. Best wishes. DB PS I have a McMillan cancer support card which the barrista may not have seen, but these can be useful for anyone needing priority access to facilities.
