The staff I've met at this shop (in recent years at least) have all been lovely. The shop floor and its contents generally also is cleaner and more maintained than some others in the area. There is also nice bright lighting to help you inspect the condition of the furniture properly. My one criticism: Furniture is often left in front of the bric-a-brac section on the ground floor. I can understand charity shops can't always have as much room as they would like, but it is quite a potential health and safety hazard when this means customers have to climb over or lean across whatever furniture has been left infront of the bric-a-brac/picture frame section of the shop (or, it will simply just stop those who aren't physically fit enough to try off buying items from the shelves they otherwise would - which is a shame). Items also aren't always priced despite being well presented (the staff are always friendly and will tell you the price if you ask - but, I can imagine this might put off any customers who are either too nervous or too busy to ask questions).

I went in store to book a pick up of a single bed as donation. Was told that the driver has been booked for checking the bed, in which never turns up, also as I read reviews about drivers, since when drivers has been in charge of accepting or not, and to give bad attitudes and nastiness to the public. IT'S A SCAM and discrimination to the people who are decent human beings. They need to be closed down.

Had a pick up of a 2 seater sofa and 3 seater sofa booked. I was told they would come between 8-5pm. Yes you guessed it they never showed up. By reading these reviews it seems this is the norm. BHF lost out on 2 perfectly good sofas.
