£23,000 Raised at Henshaws Beer Festival – A Success Story with Sunshine, Suds, and Smiles!

Hey, party lovers and do-gooders! Remember how amazing sunshine, good music, and refreshing drinks can be? Well, that's exactly what folks got to enjoy at the Henshaws Beer Festival in Knaresborough earlier this month. And, get this, they raised a jaw-dropping £23,000 for an incredible cause!

A Weekend of Fun and Fundraising

Held on the sun-kissed weekend of 3rd and 4th May, the Beer Fest served up a fantastic mix of family-friendly fun and a grown-ups-only evening session. Picture 468 happy visitors soaking up good vibes while grooving to 18 live performances by local artists, including the super-talented Henshaws Hotspots band.

Cheers to Local Flavours

Over the weekend, more than 2,000 drinks were poured by 11 stellar local vendors. Imagine sipping on some of the finest local brews, ciders, wines, and gins, handpicked from awesome breweries like Harrogate Brewing, Turning Point Brewing, Cold Bath Brewing, and of course, Black Sheep Brewery. Talk about a flavour fest!

Why It Matters

But it wasn't just about having a great time. With every ticket and pint sold, people were supporting Henshaws, a charity that helps those with sight loss and disabilities across the North of England. Clare Cunningham, one of Henshaws' superstar fundraisers, shared her joy:

“We’re absolutely thrilled that Beer Fest 2025 raised an incredible £23,000 for Henshaws! It was fantastic seeing over 460 people enjoy brilliant music, local drinks, and our warm community spirit. Huge thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, musicians, vendors, and everyone who came along. Your support means the world to us!”
