The dishwasher has been broken for weeks now, takeaway cups only available. I won't pay for coffee in a paper cup 😕 The disabled toilet door lock has been broken for months. 😕 The place feels neglected. The staff try their best, but struggle as there are never enough of them. Such a shame for us Costa fans ☹️ who have used this cafe for many years.
Absolutely awful experience. One of the drinks I ordered was already spilling over the cup without me even touching it — made a big mess. On top of that, tables were sticky and disgusting. Clearly no proper cleaning or care. You can’t even rest your hand or put a laptop down without it sticking. This is unacceptable for a place where people come to relax or work. I expected better.
It doesn't matter which Costa I go to, the staff are always long at serving, whether that's because of a long queue or they've only got one speed. Regardless of this, however, lattes are my cheeky treat and will always give in.
Great coffee shop in Pocklington. Cakes are as always with Costa, lovely!
This is a perfectly fine Costa, but please god change the music. This establishment literally plays three songs on a loop all day with zero exaggeration. It must drive the customers insane and I can’t even imagine the staff.
