Stayed here at the end of April for a little trip with my mum & it was amazing. The cottage decor was beautiful with a really comfortable bed. So much space for us both! It had everything you could think off, it felt like home from home. It’s a short walk from the main carpark & is in the perfect location. We were also allowed to bring our dog who also loved it. Would highly recommend and I will be staying again. Also credit to the host who kept in touch before and throughout my stay. Provided so much information and were lovely to deal with.
We loved our weekend at Darnholm cottage, very cosy and it had everything we needed,tricky steep stairs but this just added to the quirkiness, definitely will be returning and recommend it to anyone
Just returned from a fabulous stay in Darnholm Cottage in Robin Hood's Bay. It's been beautifully renovated recently with some lovely touches and very welcoming. Beds are extremely comfortable. It's just a short walk from the dock, the beach and a great restaurant (Brambles - highly recommend) as well as the local museum and other amenities. Great communication with the owners, who provided lots of information for things to do locally. Highly recommend.
We’ve stayed in Robin Hoods Bay many times & the recently renovated Darnholme was certainly one of the nicest cottages we’ve stayed in. It’s tucked away in the heart of Lower Bay village & is beautifully equipped with 2 good sized bedrooms & a log burner in the living room, which is the icing on the cake. The owners left a comprehensive information pack & we were really glad of their recommendation to eat at Brambles restaurant. A great place to go for breakfast or dinner
Last stayed here May 2016. Great to return August 2022. The cottage has been completely renovated and it was a pleasure to stay. Cookies and wine where a lovely welcome. Dishwasher a bonus. Double mattress on top floor not to oure taste otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you. 😊
