Dangerous - large sash window in down stairs bathroom doesn’t lock so anyone can enter day or night. Raised play area is bowing and about to collapse. Sharp end of nails sticking out of one staircase. Heated mirror over heating and boiling to touch. Dirty - oven unusable so dirty. Freezer unusable full off ice build up. All furniture and surfaces dirty. Rebus from previous residents left. Hot tub dirty and garden furniture filthy. Badly equipped - no hair dryer as advertised. No mattress for cot. Heating on top floor not working. Damp, paint peeling. Luxury emporium have no interest in address issues or providing compensation. Don’t book.

We stayed here on the 14th of Feb, although the house was perfect for our needs, as mentioned in other posts there were several areas of damp, dishwasher, TV and WiFi that doesn't work. The reason for this specific post is aimed at the hot tub, there was 12 of us in the house and I am not sure it was maintained or set up for regular use, many of us smelt what was like stale water, and by the last day the smell was so bad we couldn't use the hot tub. Many of us have become ill with eye and ear infections all associated with dirty water environments. House was good on paper but does need attention, garden is nice but can't use the decking as it's broken and unsafe, and the hot tub appears to not be treat with the required chemicals to maintain it's safe use. Would recommend the house for location and facilities within, just need to make sure they all work!

I have just returned home from an amazing stay at Rounton villa. There were 10 of us staying for my best friends hen party, which I had organised. We all had such a great time and the Villa is incredible! The beds were comfy, the living spaces were large and lovely. The hot tub was perfect and massive. The house was just stunning, with amazing views of the sea. The only thing I would say is that the lighting is poor. As women we like to do our makeup but the lighting is dim in every room and eventually we had to sit outside using pocket mirrors to help us apply makeup Apart from this the stay was INCREDIBLE, every single hen keeps talking about how amazing the house was, and rightly so!! Thanks so much.

WOW! What a house! I booked Rounton Villa (both houses combined) for a friends weekend away of catching up and chilling out. We looked at a LOT of potential properties all across the North of England and Rounton Villa was a stand out winner - not only the best option price-wise, but we loved the seaside location and the quality of the property. The staff at Maison Parfaite have been legendary - travelling as a group there are always a few queries, which I sent over by email and was always responded to quickly and in a super friendly manner. The house is in a perfect location at the top of Robin Hoods Bay, with sea views from the upstairs windows, a great outside space with a big hot tub, luxurious bedrooms, big living areas and well kitted out kitchens. We honestly could not have asked for a better place to spend our weekend. I would HIGHLY recommend Rounton Villa and will certainly be checking out other Maison Parfaite properties for my next weekend away!

Fab house. Hot tub wasn't working as staff didn't fill it up enough and put it in economy. Came to sort it the next day and put it back in economy and filled it with freezing cold water. Shocking service on the phone when I called about it. Rude staff. Spent a lot of money on staying here and didn't get the service we expected.
