We stayed here for 2 nights. It is a lovely house and in a great location. You have the Coastal Path on the door step and a Cinder track which runs Scarborough to Whitby. The rooms were so clean and breakfast was wonderful. Lovely hosts and lovely B&B.

Wonderful home-made bread and brownies - such a treat! All the breakfast food were locally sourced and of high quality, and very fresh. The couple who run the BnB are helpful, friendly, welcoming, and interesting to talk to. Jane’s Christmas tree is as stunning as her baking.

I cannot fault this place. We had an absolutely lovely time here. Chris and Jane are wonderful hosts, they have a beautiful house which is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is fantastic, loads of choice and excellent quality. There are lots of lovely touches, like The homemade brownies in your room along with a good selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Fresh milk can be collected from the fridge in the dining room. Great showers with lovely toiletries. I would definitely recommend this B&B and if we were to return to Robin Hood's Bay I would not even look at going anywhere else! 10/10 *****

My stay here was so wonderful! Chris and Jane were so kind and welcoming. The house itself was very clean and charming. Our room was so clean, we didn't believe it. After staying in some not clean hotels, this was such a retreat! Breakfast was very thoughtful and delicious. I would stay again!

Decided on Fernleigh as the reviews were brilliant and had never been to Robin Hood's Bay before. On arrival, we were staggered by how beautiful the Victorian House is on the outside, and then to find the inside is just as gorgeous. We were shown our room, which has an amazing view (some photos added taken from our room of the sunrise). The room is very spacious, a giant bed, plus another room with fridge, coffee making facilities, and two lovely chairs to chill in. (I did just that, sat for a few hours playing my guitar). The shower has a normal head plus the big one that you feel like a rain cloud is about you, which straight away piping hot water poured from. The carpet is like walking on grass, with your best nike trainers on, absolutely lovely. The radiators have the thermostats on them that, within a few minutes, had the rooms lovely and warm. Breakfast, again, just could not be faulted. More toast was no problem, more tea, coffee or fruit juice. We felt proper spoilt. If you're after a quiet and relaxing, beautiful place to stay, that the food is without question fantastic, then place is for you. It's about 10 minutes walk down into Robin Hood's Bay. Which has a few little shops, a couple of restaurants and a couple of pubs. We decided on The Smugglers, which also had the most gorgeous pizza, and wonderful beer! The walk-up takes a few minutes longer, which is really steep (1 in 3 I believe)... but there is a lovely fish and chip cafe at the top, with a decked area with outstanding views. Thank you for a Wonderful stay.
