Hotel Victoria

Visited Hotel Victoria with my partner to try and beat the January blues & it worked! This hotel is gorgeous. The interior is divine and you can just tell that a lot of effort has gone in to all of the design choices. The staff couldn't be more helpful. They are all polite, kind and knowledgeable and really make you feel like a valued guest. The hotel is beautifully located just at the top of Robin Hood's Bay and has incredible views of the sea. I love that the hotel has a bar and a pub to chose from. Breakfast was brilliant and we also booked an afternoon tea, which was delightful. Couldn't recommend this hotel more highly!

Stayed friday till Sunday just gone for my Birthday. We love The Bay and we've stayed afew times over the years. Lovely Hotel and great staff. Plenty to choose from the Breakfast menu and we had a lovely meal at night. The only issue we had on our stay was our lovely clean room was cold. The radiator didn't seem warm which meant throughout the night we was cold. Apart from that i would have gave 5 stars.

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for a friends birthday. The hotel sits at the top of Robin Hood’s Bay, and our room had a balcony wi the a lovely view of the bay. The room was comfortable and we slept well. Being the corner room it was a bit cooler than friends rooms which was ideal for sleep. The shower was over rather a high sided bath, which may be tricky for some. I’m sure I saw somewhere that you could request a room with a shower. There is a small car park for guests at the rear, but a bigger car park across the road. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Portions were sizeable and the food was fine but I found there was rather a lot of sauce on the salmon, but I liked the haggis balls.

Amazing location with views over the bay, sitting in the breakfast room and watching the sun come up was just beautiful. Lovely room in the captains quarters, super comfy bed, nice and clean and delightful little extras ( gin and tonic was a lovely surprise). All the staff were attentive and friendly, breakfast had a superb selection of continental and hot food , all of a high quality. Will definitely stay again.

My partner and i stopped for lunch on a Saturday in November. Lovely outside seating area wirh amazing views but decided to sit inside as it was a bit fresh out and dog friendly! Got here around 12 and it was nice and quiet. Partner had the burger and I had the belly pork, both large portions and delicious! By 1pm it had filled up but there was still the odd table available.
