We stayed at the Harts Head Hotel on our way to Scotland and found it to be really welcoming and incredibly comfortable! The welcome was warm, and the dinner was excellent! A wonderful lady called Clara helped us a lot when we arrived and served dinner which was tasty and very delicious! Our room was cosy and spacious, with an excellent and comfortable bed, it was right next to the back garden so quick to step outside and enjoy the view. The bathroom was lovely and clean, very well designed and the water pressure was fantastic and water temperature very good! In the morning we had a good hearty breakfast, with choices to suit all needs and served by a friendly lady who also helped us check out. This is great for people who need dog friendly rooms, of which there are a few! I highly recommend this hotel - it is very welcoming and well run by a friendly and very professional team.
We stayed as a family of 3 plus dog for one night. The room was lovely and spacious. There was a dog bed and goody bag containing a ball and some treats too which was a lovely touch! There was complimentary fruit juice cartons and water available as well as small bottles of milk to use alongside the coffee and tea making facilities in the room. We had Sunday roast dinner which was lovely and breakfast the next morning was fantastic with lots of options. We found the area perfect for us with a nice walk along the river and past a playground! We would definitely stay again!
I booked a single room for 2 nights in October. The room was small but adequate, with a bed, a dressing table/ desk and coffee making facilities. They also provided complimentary fruit juice and bottled water. Breakfast was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the full English. The second morning I tried the smoked salmon and poached eggs which was also very good. I had dinner in the restaurant both evenings. The food was a little bit dearer than what I would usually pay, but top notch quality so worth the price. I travelled by train. The hotel is closer to Settle station than Giggleswick station, so bear that in mind if you're coming via Leeds.
Had a fantastic weekend here and really can't fault the place. Staff were all lovely - from the bar team to the waiting staff and chef. Really friendly and helpful. The room was huge, really nicely decorated and immaculately clean. Couldn't ask for more really. The food was great - breakfast especially; the eggs florentine was spectacular.
We stopped in to have a Sunday roast when walking through Giggleswick. While there were only two options, beef or turkey, both were great and had all of the trimmings (they had other chicken and pork dishes on the regular menu which was also available that day). Service was friendly, and it was a lovely place to spend an hour or so enjoying lunch and avoiding the rain. Recoomend!
