Amazingly tasty food! The starters were the beginning of a fabulous food fest. We opted for nice and spicy food and we weren't disappointed. If you're ever in Todmorden, this place has to be visited.

This is by far my favourite place to eat in Tod! It’s above a bar that plays lovely jazz music which makes it a lovely vibe. The food is AMAZING and the quality exceeds the prices. It’s no suprise they have an authentic Thai chef as their menu is so varied and caters for all kinds of customers dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten free, and picky. Then if you have any room left you HAVE to try the desserts. Banana fritters are my favourite. The service is amazing and even whilst it is heaving they never fail to bring service with a smile. I don’t understand these critical reviews as I’ve never had a bad experience. 😊😋

Very cool building, quirky style. Sorry to say but food not very good to be honest. Not authentic Thai, too many items on the menu including classic Indonesian and Malaysian dishes that are not authentically executed. My rendang tasted nice but definitely not rendang. It was some sort of watery curry paste, no authentic Malaysian thick creamy texture or lemongrass which is a distinctive flavour of the curry, should be slow cooked. Please don't put it on your menu if it's not resembling an actual rendang, probably assuming a lot of English don't know authenticity. Have to say at least the duck in the curry was lovely and soft though. My partner had another watery shop-bought paste curry unfortunately, but the beef was nice. Hardly any veg in the curry as well, very basic. Also with jasmine tea I expect to get a pot to share at a set price, I'm aware it's not a Chinese restaurant but £3 a head for jasmine tea seems excessive and there was no offer to refill the pots with hot water.

Casta decided to finish off his day in Toddy with a visit to this bar cum restaurant. The restaurant is upstairs, the ground floor is a bar with three real ales on handpump. Had a pint of local brewery Eagles Crag Pale Eagle. Good bar.

Quirky. Very quirky. Bar downstairs (people were eating here) restaraunt upstairs. The bar staff and waitresses were lovely. The food was delicious and authentic. I suppose some people might say it's a little scruffy, but they can go and drink/eat at some chain restaurant. The seats have rips in them, the toilets are in the basement and are a bit of a trek if your in the restaurant. I loved it. Cosy and laid back, the type of place you could sit in all day/night. As we left there was a live jazz band playing. I wish I could've stayed but we had a train to catch. Next time we're in 'Toddy' we will definitely call here.
