River Island

Never have I ever come across such rude, and bitchy staff as I have at this store. ‘ Charlotte ‘ or whatever her name is along with an other colleague, medium/ bigger build, tanned, have treated me like some dirt. I bought an item which broke not even a month after having it and the fault was clearly seen but instead they laughed at me and refused to give me service. I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone ! High school behaviour ! I have now sent an email and an official complain to river island head quartets as this behaviour should not be allowed in such a store ! Honestly disgusting.

Went into the store yesterday, was greeted by Kirstyn who helped me find what I was looking for. Very friendly, cheerful and gave great service. Can’t say the same for other staff members, seemed very rude aspecially the women with black hair made me feel uncomfortable and was ignorant. When I asked for Kirstyn’s name I said they need more staff like her.

Placed an order on the 27th December, I couldn't pick this item up as I had to self isolate twice due to covid. The bloke I spoke to on the phone confirmed today (22nd FEBRUARY) That they have my item in the store awaiting to be collected. I had said to the bloke I'd like to return it...he said I would have to come into store to do that. I said I cannot come into store as I am going through long term sickness. He said I can only do it by coming in. This order was a online order not a store bought item. This item is eligible to be sent back through the online system. What utter bull this item should have been returned as per your terms after a certain amount of time anyway and your twlling me i can only be done in store.Ive just said to him I'll just have to leave it then. So you have my item that has been paid for and your not going to return it! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service! We were struggling to find what we needed in stock when a lovely young lady approached us and asked if we needed help. All items ordered for home delivery with no problems at all.

The staff need some training on how to deal with returns and try to be more helpful, it's off putting when they can't be bothered. Isn't it people like me that keeps them in jobs by shopping there?
