Yorkshire is a destination known for some of the most beautiful countryside and coastal walks on the planet. Our walking campaign includes walks around towns & cities, in groups or for individuals, for families and colleagues as we demonstrate the physical and mental health benefits of walking as both a recreational activity and whilst at work.
We want you to enjoy Yorkshire safely, so before you venture anywhere in your local area, we recommend that you follow government guidelines and remember - hands, face, space. In line with the new restrictions, you are still permitted to leave the house to exercise locally (on your own, with another person, or within your bubble). Walking and other forms of exercise can play a crucial role in maintaining mental and physical health. If you are going out for a walk today we suggest you dress appropriately and respect the people, communities and environments you may be passing through and adhere to the countryside code. If your chosen route is busier than normal, perhaps choose an alternative route or another day.
