Swallows Nest
About Swallows Nest
Description
4 Star rated with Gold Award - Swallows' Nest is a surprisingly spacious extended 19th century former lead miner's cottage, situated at the end of a terrace of such cottages, enjoying a very peaceful setting on the edge of the village of Hebden, close to Grassington. The cottage has been extensively renovated and refurbished to a high standard, and retains much of its original character, with fully beamed ceilings downstairs, exposed stonework, an inglenook-style fireplace in the lounge and double-glazing throughout. There are solid oak floors downstairs and some low doorways, making this an interesting property which has been pleasantly decorated and very well equipped. TV now updated to 37" flatscreen LCD HD ready.
The cottage has full oil-fired central heating, and is fully double glazed — all fuel and power is provided and included. Also provided are: towels, bed linen, tea towels, iron and ironing board, and a small selection of games, books, maps, DVDs & CDs, DAB and Internet radio and Ipod Docks.
We are sure you will find the cottage welcoming, cosy, comfortable, and a peaceful place to unwind and relax.

Deceptively spacious cottage in a good central location close to all amenities, cosy and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, lovely touch with the welcome pack and an amount of wood for the lovely log burner, I loved the little cupboard in the kitchen area with the family board games inside, great stay, we will definitely return.
