Lodge was very musty on arrival and smelt damp it was dirty and dusty in places and looks tired needs some paint, damp on walls in one bedroom and living room and also we were disappointed when we arrived no welcome pack when we arrived first time ever wouldn't say it was 4 star like sykes have said more 3, lost heating and hot water 3 times in our stay and window is ridiculous in bathroom no privacy as they say it has a film over so no-one can see in but my husband went into back garden because I wasn't 100% convinced and he could see me standing in my towel so not impressed with that, also double bed doesn't feel like a double was small so we didn't sleep great, lock on front door needs addressing as a few times we couldn't unlock it, only positives really is the location was great and suited us with having the dogs the enclosed front garden and also the price if we had paid anymore than what we did would of been highly disappointed.
What a lovely little cottage, everything we needed was provided, plenty of cutlery and cooking equipment which I think is always a bonus as after a fun packed day, just want to do quick food if haven't eaten out already.
A lovely little cottage in a great location.
Nice but very tired place.
The area & cottage were beautiful except for a few unfortunate things: The property stank of sour/off milk which we discovered was coming from a drip tray at the back of the small fridge/ freezer, which we had to clean as you could not stay in the property with that smell.
