Five Guys Burgers and Fries York

I was honestly so done with five guys after shit experience after shit experience at probably every London branch, moved to York, thought would try it. Wow. Five guys at peak performance here absolutely mint, through habit have to order large fries for one as London branches giving no fries even in a large, couldn’t finish the amount here and great quality! Burger juicy, filled, well wrapped. Price is high yes and higher than I remember but honestly I think worth it here 10/10

Feels a bit odd finding a Five Guys in such an otherwise Olde worlde part of town, but if you're hungry after a long day trying not to look like such a tourist then these guys will still do the business for you. Here they offer everything you would normally expect from a Five Guys (except the free Peanuts, I couldn't find them?) Not the cheapest option, but then in York I don't think there are many truly cheap options for a sit down meal. Also if you order a Grand Slam (burger with all the available free toppings) you will definitely be getting your money's worth.

This was a great restaurant for dinner, with the options and customisable toppings shown clearly at the counter! Design follows the classic white and red pattern, service was on point although it was quite messy here would expect more cleanliness. I had a fresh Hamburger with ketchup, mustard, onions, lettuce, gherkins and mushrooms, seating is comfortable itself.

Matilda was an absolute gem. She helped with my partners gluten and lactose intolerances. Super friendly and helpful. She is an asset to the company and I wish more fast food establishments had people like her.

Horrible service 0 star rating and will never go here in future. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff I have no words to explain the experience with Five guys for the first time we had this experience from the staff who was cooking and preparing the food for the customer. As my friend had ordered 1 sandwich and extra fries 🍟 it takes 30 mints to get the order. When there is no waiting for any customer. The staff intentionally didn’t prepare her order on time and they are doing gossip about her it’s due to because she is from India. We have mentioned the time and order number and date everything in the picture. Please take appropriate actions towards your staff behaviour on customers. My friends get her order after they service to 29 number and her order number was 21. We are very disappointed with the services and the behaviour of the staff. Just because we paid money and we all are hungry we did said anything to the staff as they already doing gossiping about to give order to her or not. The food is okay not bad we don’t complain about food but the behaviour was terrible. Don’t want to remember again. Not recommended to anyone because they don’t take customers seriously.
