Chocolate lovers, rejoice! Two new Hotel Chocolat stores are coming

If you’re a Hotel Chocolat fan in Yorkshire, you’re in for a treat—literally. The luxury chocolatier is opening two brand-new stores in York and Skipton, bringing even more of its indulgent goodies to the region.

The York store, located in Vangarde Shopping Park, will open on Thursday, 27 March. Meanwhile, the Skipton store, set to launch on Skipton High Street, will welcome its first customers on Friday, 28 March.

What can you expect from the new stores?

These aren’t just regular chocolate shops. Hotel Chocolat is making sure the new locations bring something extra special.

• York’s store will feature a Velvetiser Café, a cosy spot where you can sip on one of their famous Velvetised drinking chocolates. If you haven’t tried one yet, think of it as a silky, rich, and indulgent hot chocolate—available in 18 different flavours and served hot, iced, or as a Choc Shake.
• Skipton’s store will be part of the chain’s Café Collection, which means you can enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury bakes. These recipes come straight from Hotel Chocolat’s cacao farm in Saint Lucia, so expect some unique and delicious treats.

A VIP experience for chocolate fans

To celebrate the openings, Hotel Chocolat is offering "surprise and delight" moments for customers who make a purchase on launch day. If you’re a VIP.ME member, you’ll also get 20% off in the Velvetiser Café.

Here are the opening hours for both locations:

York (Vangarde Shopping Park)

• Monday – Saturday: 8am – 8pm
• Sunday: 11am – 5pm

Skipton (High Street)

• Monday – Saturday: 8:30am – 6pm
• Sunday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
