Premier Inn York City Centre Blossom St South hotel

We spent 2 nights there and really liked this hotel which was way better than what we expected from the reviews. Yes, the rooms and corridor carpets could be better vacuumed, but we found all staff to be very kind and helpful and the rooms of good size with all the needed. We did not try the breakfast but we enjoyed the tea/coffee available in our room with free refills at the reception. Also, the location is very good, just nearby the York train station, with a old pub nearby.

A great hotel, good location and friendly helpful staff. Checkin was smooth and at breakfast I was offered a folder for dietary requirements which was very helpful amd allowed me to easily select what I could eat. There was no tea and coffee in my room on this visit, but no cups on the tray so I suspect was an over sight, that's fine though as we arrived late and had tea at breakfast anyway. Staff were also very helpful with ore booking accessibility request and questions.

You can never tell with a review, but this is my honest opinion of my experience at this hotel. Lady at reception, very efficient, polite and very cheerful. My room was very clean, I checked ruthlessly. The location is amazing, about 5 mins walk from the station and in an area with plenty going on to entertain and feed yourself. Can’t report on the food as we had stuff planned.

Location good from train station. Very helpful, friend staff. Breakfast has good choice of hot and cold foods. Room little bit dusty, odd cobweb about but otherwise ok.

Excellent location. five min walk from the train station, walking distance to Shambles and other attractions. Clean rooms, polite and helpful staff. Very reasonable and delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here if ever visit York again.
