What a beautiful piece of history tied with Tudor history. Anything Tudor and I'm there 😅. This house was absolutely beautifully decorated. The Christmas 🎄 was stunning. The staff were amazing telling the history of it. Very friendly staff. Absolutely loved my visit. Will come back next year.
Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Such an interesting place and the exhibition including some of the previous owners stories was great. The cafe was great especially the cheese scones and coffees.
Excellent visit. We had a very informative tour of the house. Our guide was amazing, she gave us a fabulous insight into the life of the house and its last owner Frank Green. We really enjoyed it and can highly recommend. It cost £11 as a non member but certainly very good vfm.
A great house to look around full of interesting fact and wonder. I was booked onto a guided tour and the guides were very friendly and full of knowledge about the house. The house was a lot bigger than I expected and is situated right at the back of York Minster.
Interesting house and history. A bit small and therefore expensive for entry. However, worth it if you have a membership. The hosts in each room were very knowledgeable.
