Best gym for miles. Staff are beyond amazing. All polite, well spoken, easy to get along with and just down right lovely. Equipment is terrific. Everyday in this gym is nothing but positivity. Been coming for years. Will be coming for years more. - Nathan L 💪🏻
Pro: -The staffs seemed lovely, - close to bus station and other shops - encountered friendly ppl Cons: but definitely not enough equipments. One smith machine for a gym is that size is criminal, not the same equipment offered is other upgraded gym groups out there such as hip thrust machine. Most people did not put the weights back to where they belonged (not the staffs fault), so sometimes you might look like a headless chicken looking for weights. The gym is close to a college so be aware it will be packed with school/ college kids just socializing around machines.
Been working away in Barnsley the last couple of days and didn’t want the fact I’m working away from home and normality to influence my choices to go to the gym negatively so bought a day pass for Barnsley gym group, all I can say is I would rather have stayed at home and got fat whilst watching tele, not a fan at all, awful facilities, badly set out, no atmosphere in the gym atall. The worst £8.99 I’ve spent of recent. And I only gave one star because I couldn’t give zero
Love this gym. Been a member for 8 years and it's always been s great atmosphere, got all the equipment I need, and more. All the staff are approachable and friendly. Definitely recommend getting yourself booked in with a PT, too. They all know what they're talking about and are great value for money.
I've been training here for a while, but it's getting hard to stay. The gym is way too hot, and they rarely turn on the air conditioning, even on really warm days. It makes workouts uncomfortable and even unsafe at times. On top of that, the place often smells like sweat, which suggests poor ventilation or cleaning. For what I'm paying, I expected better basic conditions. Time to consider other options.
