This is one of my first negative reviews. The staff at the checkout today (November 25, 2025) should have been taught some manners. They should have at least said "thank you" instead of turning away from the customer! Last time I bought anything here, I should add that the female cashier at the checkout was more preoccupied with talking to other employees than with the customer.
Disgusting. Went in and found a nice fred Perry jumper at £65 went to buy it to be told it was 100. Manager came out smirking and told me she didn't have to sell it to me. All the other jumpers were marked at £65. Disgusting service. As a consumer we have no rights. I will never go to JD again
Staff appeared more engrossed in talking amongst themselves. No service with a smile. I have mobility issues and was kept waiting while staff were walking around aimlessly. Not my favourite place to visit, but went with my son who is autistic. As if a shopping experience isn't daunting enough for him then to be kept waiting. Customer skills not a high point at this store.
The wrost customer service I ever seen. One person on till , was waiting 15 min in queue. Same with trying shoes … 1 person on side you need to find one and wait another 20 mins for bringing you something to try.
I visited the shop today found two tops I liked went to try them on in the changing rooms, one of the workers walk in on me while trying on one of the tops at this point I (didnt have a top on)even though he knew I was in there. told one of the staff on the tills and wasn’t interested all I got was must of forget. Yeah right
