Went into this Branch and purchased a new 3 seater leather sofa and matching arm chair, great condition & great quality, whole set cost me £140 plus £35 for delivery. Glad this purchase is going to a great Charity. Was bit nervous as had read previous reviews, however my experience was very positive! Extremely busy store, however staff were still very happy to help, delivery was great no problems, got text message with tracking on the day. Very efficient and polite delivery guys. Would recommend and use again!

Brought sofa from here. Paid extra 30£ for delivery even tho it’s so close to the drop off point. Before I brought it I asked the store staff numerous times if they will be willing to deliver the sofa straight to the flat which she replied many times with yes it shouldn’t be a problem I told her the lift there is tiny and so they would have to use stairs she said that isn’t a problem. Soon as the delivery driver arrived he started to make excuses first there isn’t any parking spaces and that he’ll get a parking ticket. I even offered to pay for the parking ticket. Then he came in to have a look at a lift which I told him I told the store staff numerous times that there is no way the sofa will fit in lift and that they’ll have to use stairs. Bear in mind the corridors are spacious so they shouldn’t have any trouble bringing the sofa up the stairs. He then told me he’s afraid but he can’t bring it up and I’ll have to get a refund? Like seriously what is the point in paying 30£ if you too lazy to bring the sofa up the stairs. If I could I would give 0 stars.

Bought a washing machine from the British heart foundation i paid the £100 for it then the cashier said that there is a £30 delivery fee even though I don't live that far away which I said to the woman. As I was paying I told the woman that I live on the top floor of my block and there is roughly 30 steps and no lift so that got put on the delivery notes so I paid the £130 and thought nothing else of it. 2 days later today the delivery guy rang me and asked if the lift is broken because I am not carrying up 30 steps so luckily I had a friend with me. The delivery guy then told me that if there is no lift then we are not allowed to carry it up stairs. But when the woman was quite happy to take the money from me she failed to tell me the little fact of they not allowed to carry it up the steps. So me and my friend asked the delivery guy and his co worker if they could help us carry it up the steps as I thought 4 people would get it up easier but the delivery guy says it only takes 2 people to carry a washing machine. So I am very unhappy with the service.

Supposed to be open until 6pm I turned up at 5.25 to find the shutters half down and door locked! Change your hours online if you close earlier so people don’t waste time. Thought I’d try this morning before work and guess what, it states opens at 9 I arrived at 9.10 and not open! There’s a paper sign on the door that says opens at 9.30 but this is no good if online it states 9am again a waste of my time change your opening hours online!

Prices are ridiculous in here more than any BHF. Went in for a sofa £899 wouldn’t even reason with the price so told them I could buy this brand new from DFS for an extra £50. This is a charity shop take FREE items gives them a clean and racks the price in hundreds. Disgusting, getting free stuff and raising prices this high is diabolical. This has nothing to do with inflation this is pure greed at this point!
