Two couples stayed overnight to attend our family Christmas party. Both rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. Bernie on reception was amazing. We’ll be back.
Located in former mill, relatively quiet area with plenty of parking. Very nice Thai restaurant next door and many options in short driving distance. No air conditioning but fan is provided. Comfortable bed and good shower. Real toilet rolls in bathroom instead of individual tissues.
Rooms on a budget, but clean and functional. 10 min walk into the town (15 if you amble) so convenient for town centre and plenty of parking free at weekends and £4.50 a day Monday to Friday.
Great location as at a function in The Arches. Caution on parking, good but payable as not part of the Travelodge. However doesn't seem obvious you have to pay so I didnt notice at first and hopefully haven't got a charge. Rooms a little tired but perfectly clean. No breakfast but cafes right outside.
For £36 for the night what's not too like about it. It was comfortable, clean and a good size room. Be aware though the parking is on private land which is only free on weekends, to avoid getting a ticket from 6am Monday morning buy your ticket the night before, it wasn't expensive
