It's a budget hotel in a great location. It's not 5 star but that's not what it's meant to be. If you want a cheap, clean room in a good location with the added bonus of a Wetherspoons next door then it's ideal
Basic room was a bit tatty. Central location is good for restaurants but TERRIBLE for noise! It is next door to a bar/nightclub which was blaring music onto the street until 2:30am. They offered us ear plugs but I still only had limited sleep. The street is the party centre of Harrogate and the double glazing doesn’t block it out (even from the top floor!). If you’re thinking of staying here, go to the Premier inn instead!
Great location. I am giving it 4 stars because its a 3 star 2 star hotel if that makes sense. It was clean and basic. Staff were friendly. You get what you pay for usually but I was late booking for a conference and there wasnt much else in town so I paid a little more. But that's ok.
There's a lot not to like about this Travelodge from the poor service, to the rooms that vibrate from the noise of the night club that's in the same building. There's a car park next door, but you'll be very lucky to find a space.
Ideal base for a weekend away. With the club below it was noisy during the evening even with the windows closed. Bed was okay pillows not the greatest but as the saying goes you get what you paid for and it worked well for our weekend.
